This is why Qi Gong 18 Style isToo Easy

Qi Gong 18 Style is too easy for most people to realize the deep healing work that is taking place. 

Over the years of teaching Qi Gong 18 Style, my greatest challenge is to convey to students how much this Ritual is actually doing for them. Many people come to one or two classes and fail to understand that this practice is really helping them. They cannot seem to understand that a ritual that does not tire them out and cause them to have painfully sore muscles can be beneficial.

No Pain, No Gain

These people are in the mindset of “no pain, no gain.” They wander in, attending a couple of classes and then go on searching for something they think will help them; something with some pain associated with perceived gain. They do not recognize the profound benefits available to them from Qi Gong 18 Style – without pain. It’s too easy!

Improved Health & Profound Benefits

Fortunately, this is not always the case. Many students come to class, learn the easy Qi Gong 18 Style Ritual, and develop a regular practic. They experience improved health — physical, emotional and spiritual health. 

These students are enthusiastic and want to share Qi Gong 18 Style with friends and family.   They encounter the same frustration as I do in helping others realize the profound benefits of a practice that seems too easy. These students often say, “ It is working for me. I want them to have the benefits that I do. They just don’t see it.”

Students who have practiced Qi Gong 18 Style for more than 1 year all seem to be addicted to the feelings of Peace, Energy, and Vitality that they experience each time they complete the Ritual. Like me, they are eager to share the good feelings, health and benefits. 

How Do You Get People to Know This? How can you give them the Awareness of the feelings they are actually experiencing? That is the Frustration we have as Qi Gong practitioners.

Afraid To Stop

Now that I have had an opportunity too vent, let me tell you why I keep doing the Ritual. After 26 years of practice, I am Afraid To Stop! I do not want to know what could possibly happen to me by not practicing Qi Gong 18 Style.

The benefits I have derived from my daily Ritual practice is a long list – too many to list here. Just let me say, “Qi Gong 18 Style has made me the Healthy, Happy, Strong and Balanced person I am.”

  1. The simplicity of 18 Style Qi Gong makes it what it is. It’s easier to learn than most forms, which makes it easier to focus on each movement. There’s always more than can go into it, to make each movement more true. For example, you can lift your hands, or you can lift your hands simply by lifting your shoulder. You can drop your hands, or you can drop your hands by letting go at the shoulder. Each movement offers ways to further refine it. Tommy often quotes this martial arts maxim: “One movement becomes a thousand movements.” So it’s not really as simple as it seems.
